On 7th November, 51 academicians from 26 countries and regions around the world, representatives from research institutes, think tank organizations and high-level talent representatives, online and offline, jointly opened the 2021 Hangzhou International human resources exchange and Cooperation Conference. The conference focused on talents leading high-quality development strategies and promoted the construction of a demonstration zone for common prosperity. A total of 12 heavyweight talent projects were signed at the opening ceremony. Among them, two outstanding projects are from Gongshu district.

Medical waste recycling and chip identification supervision system project

Project Brief: The project mainly carries out the research and development of medical waste resource recycling and utilization technology. The 360-degree solution of medical waste independently developed by the project, also the technology and product line of treatment and recycling, including on-site and centralized treatment systems, free from radical-based disinfectant generation and waste fuel recovery systems, all controlled by online artificial intelligence systems. The technology and equipment are energy-saving and environmentally friendly, with minimal power consumption, no air process, and can achieve zero solid and liquid emissions and minimize air pollution. The projected revenue of the project in 2025 will be 140 million yuan.

New materials project for High Frequency Printed Circuit Boards

Project Brief: The project focuses on 5G cellular infrastructure antenna manufacturing, using flat-panel antenna application technology, using polypropylene (PP) instead of a Teflon substrate to manufacture Polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs). Developing new materials for the PCB manufacturing industry and providing production methods and technical solutions which greatly reduce the total manufacturing cost of microwave communications and cellular infrastructure antennas and improve antenna performance. It broke through the technological monopoly of Rogers, a giant of American communication materials, in the field of high-frequency PCBs. The project is expected to generate a revenue of 100 million yuan in 2025.
