In late June, Hanhai Studio had its first ACE Program Trip of 2019. The program launched a series of roadshows that brought six US-based companies to multiple cities in China – Beijing, Chongqing, and Foshan.

Program participants were carefully selected based on their influence and expertise in their respective industries. They were also evaluated on their potential to bring promising business to the China market, and their ability in expanding their venture in doing so.

This ACE trip’s roster included prominent leaders from Silverwood Entertainment (Location-Based Entertainment/LBE), Esports Showdown (Esports), Whipsaw (Industrial Design), and Esports times (VR Esports). In each city, industry leaders had the opportunity to meet with potential strategic partners, investors, and collaborators, along with local government resources with the ultimate goal of establishing a strong presence in the China market.

The participating companies were able to connect with the National Foreign Trade Base, Ali-Sports, Xiutan Esports, Wukesong Arena (2008 Beijing Olympic Games Basketball Competition Venue), Wanguan Sports, Southern Newspaper and Southern Guangyuan Culture, along with other large enterprises in China. Productive and meaningful conversations were conducting regarding esports development and location-based entertainment launchings.

Various meaningful conversations occurred regarding business opportunities and collaboration on both sides to launch hundreds of LBE locations across China.
With the trip concluded, Hanhai Studio will continue to support these companies in the next phase of their business expansion in China.
