HETFest Workshop Series: LBEs and Immersive Entertainment

Hanhai Studio held its first workshop as part of the Hollywood Entertainment Technology Festival (HEFest) Workshop Series. The chosen topic spun off a popular panel at HETFest, which talked about Location-based Entertainment (LBE). The workshop examined the dynamics of operators, content creators, and consumers to determine how technology looks to create experiences enjoyed by mainstream audiences.

Two Bit Circus’ Micro-Amusement Park Expands on Location-Based Entertainment’s Potential

Two Bit Circus has recently announced their latest project, the world’s first Micro-Amusement Park. This park will open this coming fall in the Arts District of downtown Los Angeles, California. Using a 50,000 square foot warehouse building, they will be reimagining the space into a social playground that incorporates VR, XR, and other installations and attractions which utilize the latest tech.
